Expo 2020 is the first Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region. Opening its doors on October 1st 2021, this iconic site which is twice the size of Monaco, will host more than 190 countries, showcasing the best in technology, innovation, arts, culture, music, food and architecture for 6 months until March 31st, 2022. This "not to be missed event" will be the largest event held in the region.

Multi-Day Pass

  • Valid for unlimited entries for 30 consecutive days from the first day of use, between 1 October 2021 and 31 March 2022
  • Certain peak days require prior reservation via the Expo 2020 website or mobile app, and entry will be allowed based on site capacity
  • All visitors, including those who are eligible for free tickets, must obtain a ticket to enter Expo 2020
  • Free access, with unlimited entries for 30 consecutive days from the first day of use, is available for kids and youth under 18, tertiary and higher education students, seniors 60 years and above, and people of determination (+1 companion at half price)
  • Tickets for children under six years old will only be issued to visitors upon arrival at the Expo site entrance, and cannot be booked online

1-Day Ticket

  • Valid for single entry between 1 October 2021 and 31 March 2022

*Kids and youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (with a valid ID) to enter the Expo site

*Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable after first use

*For security purposes, when using the ticket for the first time, an image capture identification method will record the ticket holder’s identity at the Expo gate

Where is Expo 2020 Dubai and what methods of transport can I take to get there?

Measuring 4.38 sqkm, the Expo 2020 site is located in the Dubai South district. It is close to Al Maktoum International Airport and within easy reach of Dubai International Airport, Abu Dhabi International Airport and Dubai and Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminals. The site also has its own Metro station, capable of transporting 22,000 passengers per hour in each direction.

Which items are not allowed at the site?

The following items are restricted from being transported in to or near the Expo 2020 Pavilions Premiere site, including any items that Expo 2020 or Expo determine at their discretion to be similar:

  1. Professional filming equipment, professional photography equipment with lenses larger than 30 cm
  2. Food and beverage items (except infant food and beverage, special dietary items)
  3. Any device with a laser beam/laser pointers or strobe lights
  4. Animals (except service and assistance animals, e.g. guide dogs)
  5. Devices producing excessive noise (e.g. vuvuzelas, drums, whistles, horns) that may affect comfort and safety
  6. Rigid poles and sticks (except walking sticks required for mobility reasons)
  7. Signage and banners
  8. Religious, political, provocative or obscene messaging on clothing
  9. Items too large to be electronically screened
  10. Any items intended for use in ambush marketing attempts
  11. Any items bearing the Expo 2020 logo, trade name and/or any kind of trademarks that are suspected to be counterfeit
  12. Drones and unmanned aerial vehicles.

What tickets are available?

Whether you want to spend a day or Multi-Day at Expo 2020, we have two main ticket types to choose from: Multi-Day Pass and 1-Day Ticket that adults ages 18 to 59 can purchase.

Free tickets for the entire duration of Expo are available for kids and youth under 18, tertiary and higher education students, seniors 60 years and above, and people of determination (+1 companion at half price).

All visitors, including those who are eligible for free tickets, must obtain a ticket to enter Expo 2020.

Do I have to print my e-ticket(s) or can I have it on my phone?

You can print your ticket or simply have it on your phone, both will be accepted at entry gate.

Do I need to show identification to enter the Expo 2020 Dubai site?

Its advisable that all visitors have proof of identification and eligibility with them at all times.

Expo 2020 has the right to refuse admission to visitors who are unable to present valid identification.

What forms of identification can I use to enter the Expo 2020 Dubai site?

For visitors from outside the UAE:

  1. - Original and valid passport with name, image and birth date clearly mentioned
  2. - Original Student ID with name and image for Student Tickets; if the ID doesn’t have a photo please take your passport too

For visitors from within the UAE:

  1. - Original and valid passport with name, image and birth date clearly mentioned
  2. - Emirates ID
  3. - Original Student ID with name and image for Student Tickets; if the ID doesn’t have a photo please take your passport or Emirates ID too

What is a person of determination ticket?

Under the National Policy for Empowering People with Special Needs, people with special needs or disabilities will be referred to as ‘people of determination’ or a ‘person of determination’.

Tickets for the entire duration of Expo 2020 are free of charge for people of determination and a 50% discount is given for one companion. The companion must enter the site with the person of determination for their ticket to be considered valid.

The person of determination ticket is part of the Dubai government’s commitment to empower people of determination.

All visitors, including people of determination, must obtain a ticket to enter Expo 2020.

If I leave Expo, can I re-enter on the same day?

Site re-entries on the same day are valid on all tickets - you can go in and out as often as you like.

What is Expo 2020's refund policy?

Expo 2020 Dubai has a strict no refunds policy, and all ticket types are non-transferable after first use.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Confirmation Policy

After a successful booking, the customer receives an email confirmation voucher within 2 business hours.

In the event that the customer's preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate timetable will be created, and a new confirmation voucher will be given via email.

Alternatively, the consumer may cancel their reservation prior to confirmation and receive a full refund.

Refund Policy

Tickets for the Dubai Expo 2020 are non-refundable under any circumstances after they have been issued.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel one day before your trip, you will be charged 100 percent of the Tickets cost as cancellation fees.

If you cancel between 0 and 1 days before your trip, you will be charged 100 percent of the total Tickets cost as cancellation fees.

Payment Terms Policy

Payment must be made in advance and in full in order for us to book the services for you.
