Additional Documents Required

  • Current Passport in original with photocopy (of first, last, address page (if separate page), any other endorsement pages, visa page and additional booklets, if any.
  • Both parents original passport is required for verification. Also clear passport copy is required which includes the first, last & observation page if any and Valid UAE Visa page to be attached along with the application (Photocopy services are available in the BLS center)
  • The applicant should submit the application in person for identification and BOTH PARENT has to accompany the child.

For Minor Child Passport Renewal if one of the parent signature is missing on the application form :

  • If one of the parent is presently residing in India/Abroad then Original Annexure 'D' signed by parent who staying abroad and Annexure ‘C’ signed by the parent who is accompanying the child is required.
  • In case of one parent foreign national and Indian parent is presently residing in India/Abroad then Notarized NOC\Affidavit signed by parent who staying abroad and Annexure ‘C’ signed by the parent who is accompanying the child is required.
  • If parents are divorced then Custody Paper, Divorce Decree and Annexure ‘C’ signed by the parent who is accompanying the child is required.
  • If it is death case then Death Certificate needs to be attested by Home Department of the concerned State Government in India. If death registered in UAE then Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required. Annexure ‘C’ signed by the parent who is accompanying the child is required.
  • If parents are separated / no documents available / not registered or not issued from India (divorce decree and custody paper), EOI / CGI approval.
  • Any Changes to be amended in the passport should be accompanied with documentary evidence.
  • In case of one parent foreign national additional documents would be required under the sole discretion of Embassy of India – Abu Dhabi/Consulate General of India, Dubai.
